Introducing the Geek Vape Aegis Max 2 Kit

Geek Vape has spent years building a reputation for rugged, high-performance hardware, and the Aegis Max 2 is a strong example of that. The kit runs on a single 18650 or 21700 battery via the included adapter, delivers up to 100W of output across multiple modes, and houses everything inside a chassis rated to IP68 standard. That means it’s certified shockproof, dustproof and water-resistant to submersion depth, which puts it in a different category from most standard box mods. The Zeus Sub Ohm Tank sits on top and is built to match. With 304 stainless steel construction, silica glass reinforcement, a top-to-bottom airflow system and dual fill ports, it’s designed for clean flavour delivery and minimal mess. Both the 0.2ohm and 0.25ohm Z Series mesh coils are included, so you can start vaping straight away once you have a battery and a suitable shortfill. This kit suits experienced vapers and confident intermediate users stepping up from a pod system. It’s not designed for simplicity, it’s designed for performance.

Why Choose the Geek Vape Aegis Max 2 Kit?

• Device type: Advanced single-battery box mod paired with the Zeus Sub Ohm Tank, designed for direct-lung (DL) sub-ohm vaping
• Battery: Accepts a single 21700 or 18650 cell (not included). A 21700 cell delivers higher mAh capacity for longer sessions at high wattage; the included adapter lets you run an 18650 for a slightly more compact setup
• Power range: 5W to 100W with a 0.02 second firing speed, covering low-watt break-in sessions through to full-power output
• Output modes: Power (standard variable wattage), VPC (Variable Power Curve, which shapes how wattage ramps across a draw), TC (Temperature Control), TCR (Temperature Coefficient of Resistance, for specific wire types like Ni200 or Titanium) and Bypass
• Display: 1.08-inch full colour screen showing wattage, coil resistance, voltage and battery level clearly
• Safety protections: A-lock accidental press protection, short circuit, overheat and overtime protection built into the chipset
• Durability: IP68-rated across the full kit, with 304 stainless steel and silica glass reinforcement on the Zeus tank
• Target user: Experienced sub-ohm vapers and intermediate vapers ready to move beyond basic pod hardware
• Compliance: Zeus tank holds 2ml of e-liquid, fully TPD-compliant for UK use

The combination of IP68 protection, a multi-mode chipset and flexible battery compatibility makes the Aegis Max 2 one of the most versatile 100W kits at this price.

Compatibility and Performance

The Zeus Sub Ohm Tank is compatible with the GeekVape Z Series coil range. Two coils come included:

• 0.2ohm Z Series mesh coil – recommended wattage 70-80W. At this output, you get denser vapour, more intense flavour and a warmer draw. This is the higher-performance option of the two
• 0.25ohm Z Series mesh coil – recommended wattage 45-57W. The lower wattage produces a cooler, slightly more restrained vape that some users prefer for longer sessions

Both are sub-ohm coils designed for a direct-lung inhale. Starting on the 0.25ohm at the lower end of its range is a sensible approach if you’re new to this kind of hardware, as it lets the coil bed in gradually. If you’re not familiar with the priming process, our coil priming guide walks through it step by step.E-liquid compatibility is important here. The Zeus tank requires high-VG e-liquids, ideally a 70VG/30PG ratio or higher. Shortfills in 50ml and 100ml formats are the practical choice, including 0mg options you can mix with a nic shot if you want nicotine. Do not use nic salts in this tank. Nic salts are formulated for low-wattage pod systems and deliver an unpleasant experience at the 45W minimum this tank runs at.The airflow system runs top to bottom with adjustable inlets that distribute liquid evenly and reduce the risk of leaks. The threaded dual-port top-fill design keeps things clean. Twist open, fill, close – far less hassle than side-fill alternatives. Charging is via the included USB-C cable, with pass-through support so you can vape while connected to a charger.

Geek Vape Aegis Max 2 Kit Highlights

The Aegis Max 2 earns its standing through features that hold up beyond the spec sheet:

• IP68 tri-proof protection – shockproof, dustproof and water-resistant to submersion depth, built for outdoor and heavy-use environments
• Flexible battery compatibility – runs on a 18650 or 21700 cell with the included adapter, giving you the choice between a compact form factor or extended battery life
• 0.02 second firing speed – near-instant response from the intelligent chipset
• Five output modes – Power, VPC, TC, TCR and Bypass cover every vaping style from straightforward variable wattage to precision temperature control
• Leak-resistant Zeus tank – top-to-bottom airflow and dual fill ports work together to prevent e-liquid escaping through the air inlets
• Robust tank construction – 304 stainless steel body with silica glass reinforcement handles the day-to-day knocks
• 1.08-inch full colour display – clear readings without having to squint or memorise button sequences

Together, these features produce a kit that performs consistently whether you’re running it at 50W on a desk or 80W on a hiking trail.
